Pasted a picture of escalator from Beaudry Metro Station as a new layer over Place Jacques Cartier at Christmas, 1999. The new layer had 75% opacity with a darken blend mode. The darken blend mode allowed Place Jacques Cartier to be predominant in the bottom of the picture (Place Jacques Cartier was darker than relatively light escalator shot) and the escalator to be predominant in the top (lower layer was sky, escalator layer was darker)
