In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By November 29, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 55 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009 / 2010. I am determined to loose 10+ pounds by the end of 2009, and an additional 140 pounds or so by the end of 2011.

I am pleased that I have lost 32 pounds since November 29, 2009. I am still maintaining no snacks between meals, evening snack limited to an apple, no solid snack at movies, and no desserts. Although pleased, I also realize I have a lot more to do, this loss is just the proverbial tip of the iceberg.

I am 17 pounds lighter than this date last year, and am also the lightest I have been on this date since 2004. Again, I am pleased, but much more to accomplish.

Lost another 5 pounds for a total of 27 pounds since November 29th. I am very happy with the weight loss, and realize I have a lot more to go - at least another 120 pounds in 2010 / 2011. My rate of loss has decreased which I expected. I'll have to go to the next stage of behavior modifications soon to ensure I don't plateau.

The 27 pound weight loss is due to eliminating in-between meal snacks, snacks at movies, and desserts along with limiting my evening snack to an apple. I don't feel wanting since I am still eating a big meal of my choice each day.

On another note - I weighed 8 pounds less this year than on Jan 15 last year.
