Weight Loss Progress
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

It is hard to believe that my last workday was two years ago today. I am thoroughly enjoying my retirement. I haven't started any of my retirement projects, and that is ok considering how much I am enjoying myself. My only regret is that I have not lost the 100+ pounds I wanted to loose. In fact, I am about 12 pounds heavier today than I was on June 16, 2004. I hope to start a major weight reduction at 5:43 pm today. Why 5:43 pm? I left work at Deer Island for the last time at 5:43 pm two years ago today. I hope to continue enjoying my retirement for many years. The one major change I want to make starting at 5:43 pm today is to enjoy the rest of my retirement as a thinner (I'll never be thin) man.

Well, it is June 1, 2006, the day I start my major weight loss. It is time for me to sh*t or get off the pot. I have experienced so many false weight loss starts in the last five years that I have lost count. My goal is to loose 100 pounds by my next birthday in April, 2007.
