Weight Loss Progress
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

Well, it is now Monday, April 24, 2006, the day I promised myself I would start a 100 pound weight reduction by returning to the eating behavior modifications that resulted in a 70 pound weight loss during a 28 week period in 1999. I have experienced way too many false starts since I gained the weight back where I cut back for several days, and lost a few pounds. After several days, I would return to my old behaviors, and no more weight was lost; sometimes I even gained weight. This time will be different. I will loose one hundred pounds between April 24, 2006, and April 24, 2007. I will start the change during the evening of April 24. Until about 11 pm, I will follow my old habits (after all, it is my birthday); however, and this is a giant however, I will absolutely, postively start my weight reduction no later than 11 pm on April 24, 2006.

The lack of posts indicates I have not been following my reduced eating behaviors faithfully. I have lost about 8 pounds since February, but I have not been following my desired reduced eating behavior modifications.

I have decided to give myself a 60th birthday gift a year early. Starting on my 59th birthday, which is in April, I will begin faithfully following my reduced eating behaviors with the goal of loosing 100 pounds by my 60th birthday in April, 2007.
