Weight Loss Progress

In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

Well, February 1 is here, and I am anxious about returning to the eating behavior modifications that worked so well for me in 1999. I lost 70 pounds in 1999, but unfortunately regained the 70 pounds plus a 25 pound bonus over the last 5+ years. I have experienced a lot of failed weight reduction starts since that time. I would last 3 days to a week watching what I ate, and then return to my old eating behaviors.

This time I am confident that I will succeed. I know it will be difficult, but it is essential for a multitude of reasons that I loose at least 100 pounds. Enough is enough; it is time to focus, and loose the weight. Equally important is keeping the weight off that I loose, and not regaining it, along with a bonus, like I did after the 1999 weight loss.
