In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

The lack of posts since New Year's shows that my weight loss progress in January was not positive. On February 1, 1999, I started an eating behavior modification which resulted in a 70 pound weight loss by August 18, 1999, when I left for my Montreal / Lake George vacation. On February 1, 2006, the 7th anniversary of my 1999 weight loss, I will start a new weight loss with a goal of loosing 70 pounds again by mid-August, and another 25 pounds by December 31, 2006. However, this time an even more important goal is to permanently keep off the weight I loose. It took seven years, but I managed to gain back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 25 pound bonus.

I lost 12 pounds in October, 2005, but had a net gain of 1 pound in November/December, 2005. We are starting a new year, and it is essential that I have a major weight loss in 2006. The good news is that I weighed the same on January 1, 2006 as I did on January 1, 2005. The bad news is that I wanted to loose 100 pounds during 2005.

My goal is to loose 100 pounds or more during 2006. I am confident that this time I will finally succeed, and loose the desired weight during 2006.
