In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

I have lost 12 pounds since October 1, 2005. I am very happy about the loss, but also realize it is just a start. I have a lot more to loose.

I only had one dessert this month, at my brother's house. It took willpower, but I did not have any desserts after my restaurant meals or at home. I also did not have any snacks at the movies.

As happy as I am about the 12 pound loss, I also realize that I could easily fall back into my old bad eating habits. I will be constantly watching for the first signs that I may be slipping into old bad eating behaviors, and do an immediate reversal.

It has only been three days, but I am off to a good start. I did not have any desserts after dinner, and did not have any snacks at the movies. I haven't been perfect, but I am off to a good start.

Well, I had my weigh-in this morning, and the verdict is in. I have gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999, plus a 32 pound bonus. I can not believe I let myself gain back all the weight I lost in 1999, along with the 32 pounds bonus. I am disgusted with my lack of weight control. I will definitely loose the 102 pounds by October 1, 2006. No more fooling around, weight loss is my top priority.

This is the day that I have to sh*t or get off the pot. Every week, I am going to start a weight reduction, and usually it is just another false start. Since I got back from vacation in early September, I have established October 1, 2005 as the day I get serious, and focus on loosing 125 pounds before the end of 2006.
