Weight Loss Progress

In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

I just celebrated my birthday, and had a very enjoyable day. However, I am very frustrated by my lack of any substantial weight loss since I gained all the weight back. As of April 25, 2005, I am 97 pounds heavier than I was in the summer of 1999. I gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 27 pound bonus.

I am determined that I will loose 100 pounds by my next birthday in April, 2006. I realize I have stated many times my intent to start a substantial weight loss; however, this time I am very determined and feel confident I will succeed.

Today was a pretty good day. I did have a small vanilla ice cream for dessert after dinner, but only had a diet soda at the movies. I may have a few crackers when I get home, but only a few.

I am still hopeful that I am serious this time and will loose significant weight.

Yesterday and today I did well from an eating perspective. I did not have any desserts after my meals, only had a diet soda at the movies, and had no snacks other than a few cookies at night.

Maybe, just maybe, I have actually started my much needed significant weight loss.

Well, we are starting another month and I have not lost any signicant amount of weight. Starting today, April 1, 2005 (this is not an April Fool's joke), I will begin a significant weight loss. I know I have said that many times before, but this time, I am confident I will succeed.

In the past, I always eliminated desserts etc. and behaved myself on the first day. This time, I started with a celebration. I had a large ice cream at Cold Stones and then had a triple chocolate cheesecake with my tea at B&N Cafe. A strange way to start a significant weight loss. I was celebrating the start of a significant weight loss, and won't have desserts like this for a long, long, long time. I will only have similar desserts as a reward to myself when I reach significant weight loss milestones.

I really feel confident that this time I will loose a significant amount of weight, and more importantly, keep it off this time!
