It is almost 5 months since I stopped working and I am still enjoying myself. Every day is like the weekends were when I worked, basically a constant vacation.

Fortunately, in the Boston area, there is a focus on the tech sector and there are many tech related user group meetings/vendor events each month. Since I am basically a geek, I am keeping myself very busy with a plethora of computer related events which I thoroughly enjoy.

I am still interested in relocating full time to Florida: however, I will not explore that option until the Fall of 2005.

I am 98% sure I will be retiring from the MWRA on June 30, 2004, the last day to qualify for the retirement incentive of an extra 5 years added to your age or years of service. Update - I did take the retirement on June 30, 2004. This will be my second retirement. I retired from the US Postal Service on November 20, 1992, again taking advantage of a retirement incentive. This retirement will be different; I will be 57 and the MWRA may be my last full time job.
