Weight Loss Progress

In 1999, I lost 70 pounds. By January 1, 2009 I had gained back the 70 pounds I lost in 1999 along with a 32 pound bonus. Most of my major weight losses have been in years ending in 9. I hope to repeat this history of successful weight losses during 2009. I am determined to loose 102+ pounds by the end of 2009.

I am going to return to my weight reduction behaviors starting Friday, October 1, 2004. I really must focus on loosing 100+ pounds, it is not an option anymore. I have to focus and ensure October 1, 2004 commences a major weight loss and does not become just another false start that lasts only a few days.

I must loose 30 pounds by December 31, 2004 and loose another 100+ pounds by December 31, 2005.

Went to a movie at the Kendall Cinema and then ate at the Cambridge Brewery (they have great burgers). I am still concerned with my lack of focus in starting my major weight loss. I have been back from vacation for two weeks now and I am still following my old weight gaining eating behaviors.

I have to focus immediately on loosing significant weight. Continuing with my current eating habits is not an acceptable option.

Well, I had a great vacation. Now the bad news - I gained 11 pounds while I was on vacation.

As of September 9, 2004, I am 95 pounds heavier than the summer of 1999. I have regained the 70 pounds I lost in 1999, a 14 pound bonus before vacation, and the 11 pounds I gained on vacation.

The 95 pound gain is unacceptable!!! Starting September 9, 2004, I am starting a 130 pound weight reduction lifetime project. I plan to loose 30 pounds by December 31, 2004, and loose another 100 pounds in 2005. The most important part of the goal is to keep the weight off once I loose the weight!

Loosing this weight is my top priority retirement project, and I must focus on this goal until it is achieved.

Since is it now just past midnight, I am officially on the last day of my 34 day vacation that I gave myself as a retirement gift. I will enjoy Lake George today and head home on Tuesday morning. The vacation has been great; however, I am not looking forward to getting on the scale when I get home. I am sure I have gained some more weight, just what I did not need.

I will give myself Wednesday to unwind. Starting Thursday, September 9, 2004, I will return to my weight reduction eating behavior modifications with a goal of loosing 30 pounds by December 31, 2004. I also will loose an additional 90 pounds in 2005.
